Royston is located
between Luton and Cambridge and to the north of London.
Royston is a busy market town with a rich history and is the
point at which the ancient Roman roads of Icknield Way and
Roman Ermine Street meet. Royston is known for its
outstanding gardens, an intriguing man-made cave and many
historical buildings.
Royston is a traditional market town in Hertfordshire, with
a population of around 17,000 people. There are many great
pubs and places to eat out, and It benefits from a
newly-built leisure centre and a town centre consisting of a
wide choice of shops and services.
Royston lies midway
between the A1(M) and M11 and is reached via the A505. Two
trains per hour arrive in Royston from London’s Kings Cross
Station, while trains also run via Cambridge from Stansted
International Airport. Additionally, National Express
Coaches have services to Royston throughout the day from
Victoria Coach Station in London. |
